This working group, made up ofFLSCO teachers of primary and secondary education is to reflect on the major issues relating to the reception of allophone pupils in schools in the AEFE's Central and Eastern Europe Zone.

The aim of this first working session, on 1 and 2 February at the Lycée français de VienneThe aim of the project was to draw up an inventory of FLSCO teaching methods in the various schools in the area.
The following topics were discussed:
⏩ welcoming and communicating with families
⏩ procedures for placement tests (find out what skills pupils already have in French and other subjects)
⏩ resources and efficient teaching methods for FSLCO teachers: pooling and sharing towards the creation of a teaching kit for ZECO teachers in the coming months.
⏩ arrangements for gradual and then full inclusion in class and in the various subjects: exploration and analysis of existing arrangements in ZECOs and transferability to other schools
⏩ building language pathways throughout the school.

These two days of face-to-face work will be followed by three periods of distance learning:
⏩ sharing practices to enhance them
⏩ propose innovative ways of including children in ZECO establishments
⏩ create programmes based on the end-of-cycle expectations and the skills set out in the CEFR
⏩ share resources to create a kit that can be adapted to different teaching contexts
⏩ sharing differentiation methods
⏩ propose ways of co-teaching/co-intervening with class or subject teachers.
