The French Lycées of the AEFE's Central and Eastern Europe Zone are organising the Speech and Rhetoric Competition.

The competition is open to CM2, 4ème and 2nde AEFE establishments (French and Franco-German) and establishments invited by the organisers or by one of the members after authorisation from the host establishment.

The competition will take place on Wednesday 15 May 2024 at Lycée français international Simone Veil de Düsseldorf.

Each registered school may enter a maximum of 3 candidates per level.
Each candidate must give a speech in front of an audience and a panel of judges drawn from the school community, extended to include outside guests. Speech topics are free. Speeches are limited to 3 minutes per candidate for pupils in CM2, 4 minutes for candidates in 4ème and 6 minutes for those in 2nde.
