The voice of the pupils is a lever for their learning. Training Saying things and getting people to say them for better understanding for teachers of cycles 2 and 3, with the exception of 6ème, and which took place at the Lycée Français de Berlin on 24 and 25 March, highlighted the gaps that can often exist between teachers' expectations and what pupils actually do in the classroom.
Provided by Sophie ThuillierCPAIEN, and by Virginie Schehr EF1D of the Central and Eastern Europe ZoneThe aims of the course were to :
⏩ identify and analyse pupils' level of engagement in classroom tasks
⏩ Putting the student's voice at the heart of learning
⏩ develop explicit, effective and fair professional practices
⏩ develop strategies for verbalisation to be used in class.
This hybrid course is divided into several phases. An initial distance learning session prior to the two days in Berlin presented a quick and simple experiment to be carried out in the classroom, and a second distance learning session will take place afterwards to provide feedback on practices.
