All classroom situations are vehicles for learning and acquiring vocabulary in nursery school. The organisation of learning areas or sequences based on scenarios provides an opportunity to target the new words that pupils will begin to acquire. Vocabulary is memorised through repeated use in different learning contexts.
Le French International School of Vilnius hosted the Develop pupils' vocabulary in all areas of nursery learning through play, manipulation and experimentation.
To reinforce the development of pupils' oral skills - particularly in nursery school - the trainees were given the opportunity to construct sequences that emphasised the importance of vocabulary.
