Experimental science is based on at least two pillars: sound knowledge and reasoning, and mastery of technical skills and know-how. In-class experimentation, even in the absence of a specialised room, is a practice that promotes the understanding and appropriation of scientific concepts.
This is the theme of a training course taking place at Lycée Français Jean Renoir de Munich on 19 and 20 December.

Hosted by Thibaut MonnetEF2D Physics-Chemistry and Jean-Pierre PitiotEF2D SVT for the Central and Eastern Europe Zone, the aim of this course is to :
⏩ to pool and work on developing a range of resources of all kinds, both analogue and digital, to enable pupils to manipulate and act in order to learn and understand better
⏩ develop the contents of essential toolboxes
⏩ use group work and associated classroom techniques to strengthen pupils' psychosocial skills
⏩ enriching its progress with practical activities where they are in short supply
⏩ test discoveries in class and share feedback with the group.
