The AESH (support for pupils with disabilities) are essential links in the school support chain for pupils with disabilities or special needs.
The French framework applies to approved establishments, but there are specific differences between the work of the AESH in France and abroad, in addition to the specific knowledge of the target groups that it requires.
For the first time, training for these staff members was offered for the ZENOS - Northern Europe and Scandinavia Zone - and for ZECO - Central and Eastern Europe Zone.
Over two days, on 14 December and 24 January, case studies, theoretical contributions and tools were presented on :
⏩ the relationship with the pupil/pupils ;
⏩ Complementarity between AESH and teachers
⏩ collaboration with the monitoring team and families.
The main aim is to support pupils on a daily basis and thus play an essential role in the inclusive dimension.
