Training Writing in all subjects: the place of vocabulary in writing, from work-related writing to short pieces of writing took place at Lycée français Jean Renoir de Munich on 15 and 16 January.
Learning vocabulary and building word networks are essential activities to help pupils develop their writing skills and their desire to write.
This course, run by Christelle Raynalhead of primary classes at the Lycée français de Prague, and by Mike Noeppelthe educational adviser to the A-DASEN, aimed to :
⏩ question the place given to vocabulary in the classroom in the production of pupils' written work
⏩ questioning the time and space for writing in the classroom
⏩ develop situations that encourage pupils to want to write
⏩ organise specific short writing sessions around a project.
Feedback on the implementation of these writing projects in class will be provided during a second remote session.
