On 3 May last, theRegional Training Institute of the Central and Eastern Europe Zone located at Lycée français Jean Renoir de Munich had the good fortune and pleasure of welcoming the Director General of the AEFE, Claudia Scherer-Effosse.

To mark the occasion, and to round off a week of festivities to mark the 70th anniversary of the Bavarian school, Mrs Scherer-Effosse was accompanied by Mrs Chantal BousquetDeputy Cultural Adviser and Delegate to the Management of the AEFE, as well as Mr Christophe DerambureEurope-AEFE Geographical Sector Manager.

In the presence of Ms Corinne PereiraConsul General of France in Munich, and Mr Alain HouilleA plaque bearing the IRF's name was unveiled.

To round off the day, an institutional evening was organised in the Salle d'Honneur of Munich's Old Town Hall, during which a number of students took to the stage to put on a spectacular show for the guests.
