📣 The annual Central and Eastern Europe Zone was held from 25 to 27 September at the Lycée Français de Vienne.

The school heads were welcomed by Mrs Magali Durand-Assoulythe Principal and by Philippe SutterCounsellor for Cooperation and Cultural Action in Austria, before hearing speeches by Mrs Clothilde FayetGeneral Secretary of the AEFE and of Christine Chourréthe AEFE's new Head of Northern Europe. The second working day ended with a warm reception hosted by The French Ambassador to Austria Matthieu Peyraud.

The programme for the three-day seminar includes a conference by Mr Olivier Perrenoudassociate professor at the Haute École pédagogique du Canton de Vaud, workshop sessions and discussions on the zone project.
The meeting provided an opportunity to meet the ZECO's supervisory staff and teacher trainers, both new arrivals and those already in post, to continue work on the zone project and to discuss the role of management.
