In 2020, the MENJ created a national competition Eco-delegated action award in three categories for school, collège and lycée eco-delegates.
This competition contributes to education for sustainable development, with a particular focus on raise awareness of, encourage and promote the actions undertaken by the eco-delegates in schools.

Each year, the AEFE receives around twenty projects in all categories, which are examined by an AEFE jury.
The 2025 edition will focus on Year of the Sea !
