On Thursday 14 November, the Lyc\u00e9e Franco-Allemand de Sarrebruck<\/strong><\/span> was honoured to welcome Mrs Anne Genetet<\/strong>, Minister for Education<\/strong> in France and Mr Alexandre Portier<\/strong>, Minister with responsibility for Academic Achievement and Vocational Training<\/strong> on the occasion of the conference of French Academy Rectors, organised at the lyc\u00e9e.<\/p>\n

This meeting was followed by a meeting on Friday between the Rectors, the Minister for Education and the Education Ministers of the German L\u00e4nder.
\nSaarland's Minister for Education, Mrs.<\/strong> Christine Streichert-Clivot<\/strong>She is currently President of the Conference of German Ministers of Education and Culture (KMK) and Minister-President of Saarland, Mrs Anke Rehlinger<\/strong>As the current plenipotentiary for Franco-German cultural cooperation, the Saarland has been the venue for consultation meetings between France and Germany.<\/p>\n

One of the items on the programme was a brief visit to the Franco-German High School<\/strong><\/span>The event included a discussion with the school management and students who talked about their school careers.

With its multilingual teaching and innovative exchange programmes, including participation in Erasmus+ projects, it builds a bridge between our two countries and is a place where understanding, empathy and European cooperation grow - values that are essential to the future of Europe\", said Mrs.<\/strong> Christine Streichert-Clivot.<\/strong><\/p>\n
