On 21 and 22 November, the following training courses were held Manipulating objects (puppets, story boxes, etc.) to develop oral language in nursery school children<\/strong> on the premises of Lyc\u00e9e Fran\u00e7ais de Berlin<\/strong><\/span>.<\/p>\n

The course had a number of objectives:
\n\u23e9 Giving pupils the chance to speak and teaching them to say words, texts or images
\n\u23e9 Encourage learning of the French language to support pupils whose home language is not French
\n\u23e9 Assessing student progress
\n\u23e9 Examine classroom situations involving the 4 main objectives related to speaking in cycle 1:
\n\ud83d\udc49 Daring to communicate
\n\ud83d\udc49 Understanding and learning
\n\ud83d\udc49 Sharing and reflecting with others
\n\ud83d\udc49 Begin to think about language and develop phonological awareness<\/p>\n

With the help of Nathalie Jeudy-Karakoc<\/strong>CPAIEN for the ZECO, Liza Beauvais<\/strong>a puppeteer, shared her professional skills with teachers in the zone, enabling them to use puppets and other marionettes to support language learning among pupils in the ZECO. She enabled them to associate the different types of puppet with specific educational objectives and to familiarise themselves with the handling of this transitional object.
\nYasmina Boudjatit<\/strong>The ZECO's EMFE also gave a one-hour remote presentation on digital tools in relation to oral language.<\/p>\n

The twenty or so teachers left with a wide range of tools for building classroom sequences that give their pupils a voice and encourage the development of their language skills, both lexical and syntactic.<\/p>\n
