In the middle Press and Media Week in Schools<\/strong>the Lyc\u00e9e fran\u00e7ais de Vienne<\/strong><\/span> hosted the Implementing media and information education (MIE) in cycles 2 and 3.<\/strong><\/p>\n

In this age of mass media and digital networks, certain skills need to be developed from Cycle 2 onwards to train people to be informed, educated, sensitive and critical thinkers in an \"information and communication society\".
\nThe IME therefore contributes to all school-based learning as much as it feeds off it.<\/p>\n

Supervised by Nathalie Jeudy-Karako\u00e7<\/strong>CPAIEN and Philippe Merleau<\/strong>EF2D History Geography for the ZECO, the twenty or so teachers taking part in this course will be required to :
\n\u23e9 Identify the scope and objectives of the IME
\n\u23e9 Update their knowledge of current developments in the IME
\n\u23e9 Design sessions\/sequences\/projects to enable pupils :
\n\ud83d\udd38 learn how to find and read information from different sources
\n\ud83d\udd38 experiment with different ways of expressing, creating and presenting content
\n\ud83d\udd38 be aware of the rules of communication
\n\ud83d\udd38 discover how different media work<\/p>\n
